Funding for equipment to enhance the sound system

Sharing Mexican Cultural Dance Opportunities is educating local school children about Mexican regional culture by performing dance programs at 8 local public schools and inviting interested students to join an introductory dance workshop or class.

Talent Club members enjoyed the Summer Performing Arts Workshop, where the Craterian Theater and Teen Musical Theater of Oregon led workshops focused on dance, acting, singing, and prop design.

The Conservatory is a four-week summer program with daily theatrical training open to youth ages 9-17, regardless of skill or ability to pay.

Scholarships for the Youth Access to Performing Arts project for families who have a child interested in the program but find the cost prohibitive

Restore the ancient Takelma Salmon Ceremony at Ti’lomikh Falls on the Rogue River

Baby's First Book helps create lifelong readers and library users, almost from birth. Through this program, the Jackson County Library Foundation guarantees that nearly all of Jackson County’s new families will have at least one children’s book in their home.

Provide a high-quality Arts Immersion program and purchase Visual Arts supplies for student instruction

Fund musical instruction to disadvantaged youth, aiding in after-school enrichment and a development of cultural diversity and community connection

Enhance cultural arts education for Central Point students through “The Magic Cape” and “Sing South Africa!” projects

Produce three concerts in collaboration with local school districts that include performances by children, for children

Bring two professional genealogists to Jackson County to provide educational opportunities for the public interested in researching their family heritage

Support the May 19, 2018 Family Discovery Concert

Add culturally-specific, high quality titles to permanent reading collections

Provide the computers and monitors needed to run train simulations for children

Support the Community Participation Program, which enhances access for Jackson County residents to the arts through the Musical Outreach Program, Free Lecture Program, and Outreach Program Voucher

Support the annual Student Showcase, which covers costs to produce two episodes that air for a full year

Support the photography project Ashland in Translation: From Blue Collar to Cultural Icon, 1960-2000
